to get down to the Dallas County Tax Appraisal District office and make your protest directly to an appraiser.  You also have only until the end of business today to request a hearing.  Friday afternoon the wait was a few hours, but it can be well worth it.  Our two most recent protests resulted in a reduction of $16,000 for one property and $43,000 for the other.  Working to get the last ones done today.  More tomorrow....
